- Always check your passport is in date
- Apply for Turkish evisa as soon as you have booked your flights – please use this official link https://www.evisa.gov.tr/en/
- Have appropriate travel & health insurance
- Photocopy passport & insurance documents and keep them safe
- Book early – January / February is sale season in the travel industry
- Check currency rates before you travel – it may be beneficial to change currency in resort
- Try to get as much information about the area you are travelling to and have a contact number in resort
- Don’t forget to pack your mobile – gadget chargers & adapters
- Check with your mobile service provider regarding charges and internet roaming
- Pack plenty of sunscreen – don’t forget your hat!
